Holla! Today I want to share about "The different about Malaysia school from another country school" so, Let's start!
In Malaysia, we have three type of school.. First, when we are in 4-6 years old, we will go to kindergarten to learn reading, counting number and literacy.. Hurm.. Talk about that, we only came to school 4 hours.. from 8 a.m until 12 p.m. so, to me be a student of kindergarten school is so cool because your teachers will always pampers you all of the minutes..
So, after kindergarten graduates, we will go to primary school. In primary school, you will learn only 6 years.. so of course from 7 years old until 12 years old you will be a pupil in primary school. In primary school, we only have a big exam when we in the last year of school.. That is what we call as UPSR.. Be a primary school pupils is quite easy for who are intelligent from kindergarten.. But, I you go to primary school without any basic knowledge you will sit on the last class and only a concerned teacher will teach you hard.. so, it will effect your big exam when you 12 years old.. so, have a early education from kindergarten is so IMPORTANT in Malaysia... If in USA, they will learn to counting numbers, literacy and reading at home.. ( my pen pals told me)
So, graduate primary school, all of Malaysian will go to secondary school. Be a secondary school is easy for some and hard for another.. In secondary school you will meet a lot of strangers and lose a lot of your kindergarten and primary school friends and who don't know how to survive it is quite dangerous.. because when you come in and be a student of secondary school, you will have a lot of rivalry and a lot of challenge.. in secondary school, it has a lot of challenge and a lot of human diversity.. If you can't stand their diversity they can easily take you down.. in secondary school, we will have two big exams.. when you in 15 years old like me, you will have PT3 exams.. the format of the question is high order thinking skills.. So, being a bookworm is not quite good because they will ask out of box question and majority of we can failed... A long times ago, being a bookworm is so IMPORTANT but today it is not... If you know the basic and you can think I am sure you can survive.. then, you will have another big exam and it is your final exam that is SPM and can be your determination of your life, if you still comfort and don't care to study, I don't think that you can have a happy life.. so, we will graduate our school when we are 17 years old and some students will graduated on 18 years old.. then, who want to further studies to university can register it... you can choose your university... if you want to study under the government university, you have to score your SPM... but if you are from a wealthy family, you can register the private university... so maybe you can can you degree when we are 23 years old.. But in America, they will have they degree when they are 19 years old,.. so Being a teenagers in Malaysia is so challenging.. We have to be strong... So, how about your country??
